Welcome to Year 7
There are two tutor groups in Year 7. The role of the tutor is to oversee the pastoral care of pupils within their class. They have daily contact with their tutor group during the registration period and also during PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) lessons and tutorial sessions.
Timetables are issued to all pupils at the start of each academic year.
All subjects in Year 7 are taught by specialist subject teachers. A summary of the curriculum is provided below.
Children are setted by ability in English and mathematics.
Homework is set on a regular basis with a maximum of 45 minutes each per subject. Please refer to the downloadable homework timetable for specific details.
